SARCA is a French acronym for Services D’accueil, de Référence, de Conseil et D’accompagnement. In English it’s Reception, Referral, Counselling and Support. The role of the SARCA development officer is to support people who may want to return to school to finish their high school leaving diploma. They can also help with career options and recommend local organizations. They are a free guidance service in all school boards in the province.
